Airport Transfer Terms and Conditions
Booking and Confirmation
1.1. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Castlemaine Flyer.
1.2. A booking is only confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation via email or SMS.
1.3. Clients are required to provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking.
Pricing and Payment
2.1. Prices are as quoted at the time of booking and include all applicable taxes.
2.2. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
2.3. We reserve the right to adjust prices due to changes in taxes or other factors beyond our control.
Cancellations and Refunds
3.1. Cancellations Made More Than 24 Hours Before Pickup
You will receive a full refund.
3.2. Cancellations Made Within 24 Hours of Pickup
A 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
3.3. Cancellations Made Within 12 Hours of Pickup or No-Shows
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled pickup time or no-shows are non-refundable.
3.4. Option for Credit Instead of Refund
3.4.1. At your request, we offer a credit equal to the amount paid for the canceled service instead of a refund.
3.4.2. Credits must be used within 12 months from the date of issuance and are subject to availability.
3.4.3. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
3.4.4. To opt for a credit, please notify us at the time of cancellation via email or phone.
Changes to Booking
4.1. Any changes to your booking must be communicated to us as soon as possible.
4.2. Types of Changes
4.2.1. Changes Initiated by the Client
If you request a reschedule or any other change to your booking, it will be treated as a change initiated by the client.
Depending on the timing of your change request, cancellation fees as outlined in Section 3 may apply:
4.2.1.1. More Than 24 Hours Before Scheduled Pickup
Full refund minus any applicable administrative fees, or you may opt for a credit as per Section 3.4.
4.2.1.2. Within 24 Hours of Scheduled Pickup
A 50% cancellation fee will be charged, or you may opt for a credit as per Section 3.4.
4.2.1.3. Within 12 Hours of Scheduled Pickup or No-Show
No refund will be provided; however, you may still opt for a credit as per Section 3.4 if applicable.
4.2.2. Changes Initiated by the Airline
In the event of changes initiated by the airline, such as flight cancellations, delays, or schedule changes, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your new schedule without additional charges.
Since these changes are beyond the control of both the client and Castlemaine Flyer, we will work with you to reschedule your booking at no additional cost, subject to availability.
4.2.3. Changes Initiated by Castlemaine Flyer
If we need to make changes to your booking due to factors beyond our control (e.g., mechanical issues, driver availability), we will notify you as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative vehicle or driver without additional charges.
4.3. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate all changes but cannot guarantee availability or price for changes initiated by the client.
Pickup and Drop-off
5.1. Departures
Please be ready at the designated pickup location at the agreed time.
Our driver will wait for a maximum of 30 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. During this period, the driver will attempt to contact you via the provided contact information.
After 30 minutes, the service will be considered a no-show.
5.2. Arrivals
Please make every effort to be punctual at the agreed pickup time and location.
In the event of a flight delay, we will make all reasonable efforts to track your flight and adjust the pickup time accordingly.
If the flight delay exceeds one hour, we may need to change the driver or vehicle allocation, which could result in a delayed pickup.
We are flexible in accommodating flight delays as these are beyond your control.
5.3. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete pickup and drop-off information.
Luggage and Personal Belongings
6.1. Each vehicle allows for up to four large suitcases (maximum 23 kg or 50 lbs each) and one carry-on bag per passenger for up to four passengers.
6.2. We are not responsible for loss or damage to luggage or personal belongings.
Conduct and Safety
7.1. Clients must adhere to all local laws and regulations, including wearing seat belts.
7.2. We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger who is intoxicated, abusive, or poses a safety risk.
Liability
8.1. We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic, weather conditions, flight delays, and mechanical failures.
8.2. Our liability for any claim arising out of the provision of services shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the service, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
9.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
9.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
Privacy Policy
10.1. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
10.2. Personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
